On June 30, Google's second core algorithm for 2025 was launched for a period of three weeks, with only two key words:

2. 7-step operation manual for independent foreign trade sites to “not lose ranking”
Step 1: Shut up and observe for 7-14 days
During the update period (June 30th - July 21st), do not make random changes to the TDK or major changes to the template.
Record GSC → Performance → Number of queries, click-through rate, and average ranking every day, and use Google Sheets to draw a line chart.
Step 2: Make a list of “content gaps” (can be completed in as little as 1 day)
Pull out the keywords in GSC that have an impression volume > 100 in the last 90 days but are ranked 11-20.
Use these words to search the top 3 pages on Google and note the 3-5 points they make that you don’t.

Step 3: Example of "thickening" the old page (practical template)
Take the “PET resin supplier” product page as an example:
① Original page: only 120 words of product introduction + 3 pictures.
② After thickening:
Added illustrations of "7 common quality inspection processes" (original photography);
Insert the 3 restrictions on PET in the new EU regulations in 2024, and attach a PDF link to the original text;
Add 2 customer cases (a beverage factory in the United States and a water bottle factory in South Africa), and put screenshots of real orders in the cases;
Add FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions for Voice Search) and mark it up with Schema.
Result: After 2 weeks, the page’s click-through rate increased from 4.1% to 7.8%, and its ranking increased from 13 to 6.
Step 4: Use AI as a draftsman and yourself as the editor
Let AI write a 60-point draft first → manually revise it to 90 points.
Hard self-checklist:
Delete more than 3 repeated sentences;
Add a personal experience paragraph (e.g. “I tested this material at the Dubai Exhibition in 2023…”);
Plus 1 downloadable original Excel template or quality checklist.
Use Grammarly+Quillbot to go through it and ensure the readability is below 8th grade.
Step 5: Build an internal link network in 30 minutes
Open Screaming Frog → Crawl all URLs → Filter pages with “Number of internal links = 0”.
Arrange these orphan pages into groups of 3 by theme, and add an "Extended Reading" block at the bottom of the corresponding product page.
The anchor text should be a natural sentence, such as "View the test report of PET particles we sent to Germany".
Step 6: One-time fix for mobile experience
Use PageSpeed Insights to run the home page + 5 product pages with the highest traffic.
If the score is above 90, skip it; if the score is below 90, follow the prompts:
The images are compressed to less than 150 KB;
Change the YouTube video cover to a static image and click to load it;
Delete 5 of Elementor’s 6 animation effects.
After completing the above 3 steps, the speed can generally be increased by 1-2 seconds.
Step 7: EEAT (Trust Signals) on one page
About Us page adds 3 elements:
Factory exterior + team photo (original photo, EXIF retained);
60-second video of the founder, stating "We have been engaged in PET export for 11 years";
Downloadable SGS certificate PDF.
The Contact page displays three methods: WhatsApp, Email, and LinkedIn, all of which can be opened with one click.
→ These can directly add points when Google quality assessors conduct spot checks.
July 1-3: Using GSC to pull the 20 keywords with the largest drop in traffic, it was found that all of them were "technical parameters" type pages.
